HOUSE RULES
Before booking, the Guest has read, understood and accepted the policy.
Dear Guests,
Welcome to Szivike Guesthouse in Ábrahámhegy!
Please carefully read the following house rules, which are intended to ensure a peaceful and pleasant stay for everyone.
1. Check-In and Check-Out
According to current legislation, from September 1, 2021, all guests using accommodation services in Hungary are required to have their personal data recorded by the accommodation provider through an identification reader and transmitted to the Guest Information Closed Database (VIZA).
Upon arrival, every guest must provide the required personal documents (passport or identity card, address card) and pay the amount due on-site. Guests can only access the apartment after the full participation fee has been paid.
CHECK-IN: From 14:00 on the day of arrival.
CHECK-OUT: Please vacate the rooms by 11:00 on the day of departure.
Late check-out or early check-in requires prior arrangement and may incur additional charges. The owner or representative will be present at the specified check-in/check-out time if needed.
2. Quiet Hours
Please respect the peace of the neighbors between 22:00 and 07:00 and avoid noisy activities. Additionally, please move quietly when returning late at night or early in the morning.
3. Smoking
Smoking is prohibited inside the house; it is only allowed on the terrace and in the parking area. (This includes electronic cigarettes, VAPE, and IQOS!) Please dispose of cigarette butts in the designated ashtray.
4. Cleanliness and Order
Please take care of the furniture and equipment and use them appropriately! It is prohibited to remove any furnishings or equipment from the house. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen for preparing simple meals. Do not place metal objects in the microwave.
In the event of any damage, the guest is required to cover the costs on-site.
If something breaks down or malfunctions, please report it to us to avoid further damage.
The apartment is provided to guests clean and tidy. Cleaning is done once a week, including linen and towel changes (for stays longer than one week).
After use, please clean the barbecue and grill, and douse the ashes with water. Firewood is provided! Caution: fire hazard!
Please dispose of waste in the designated bins.
5. Pets
Pets or animals are not allowed on the premises.
6. Responsibility
Guests are responsible for their valuables and personal belongings. A safe is available. We do not take responsibility for valuables left in the guesthouse or the safe.
The host is not responsible for any material damage or accidents resulting from improper use. Guests are responsible for their own and their visitors' behavior within and around the house, including any accidents involving themselves or their visitors.
The use of the playground and garden is at your own risk.
A small first aid kit is available under the bathroom sink. In case of serious emergencies, call 112!
CCTV: There are three cameras on the property: two at the parking area and entrance, and one outside of the house. These cameras record and store images for the safety of guests and their belongings. The purpose of camera surveillance is to protect valuable assets and guests' personal belongings, as it is the only way to detect and prevent violations and prove them. The legal basis for this data processing is your voluntary consent. By entering the monitored area of the SZIVIKE Guesthouse, you consent to image recording. The camera system operates on a closed-circuit network with timer and motion detection settings. Recorded footage is stored for 48 hours. More information about camera system data processing can be requested in advance or upon check-in.
7. Additional Rules
Any illegal activity on the property is strictly prohibited.
Flammable materials and tools are not allowed on the premises!
In case of fire, use the fire extinguisher located in the kitchen and call the fire department at 105, and then notify the host.
When leaving the apartment, always turn off the water, electricity, and air conditioning, close the windows, and retract the sunshade!
Only registered guests are allowed on the premises. Please notify us in advance if you expect visitors.
The total booking fee covers the number of days booked in advance. We cannot refund money if you shorten your stay.
We reserve the right to select our guests. Therefore, guests who behave disruptively or do not adhere to the house rules may be refused service or asked to leave immediately. In such cases, no refunds will be given for any remaining days.
Our apartment is self-catering; we do not provide meals.
Generally available: toilet paper, liquid soap, shampoo, dish soap, dish sponge, kitchen towel, dishwasher tablets, basic spices, Nespresso coffee maker and capsules, tea, hairdryer, iron, bed linen, towels, bathroom hand towels, toiletries and shoe care products, vanity kit, umbrella, children's toys, outdoor dryer. You are responsible for replenishing your supplies during your stay.
8. Emergency Situations
In case of an emergency, please inform the owners at the provided contact information and call the necessary authorities (ambulance, fire department, police)
